What to expect
We gather together on Sunday mornings at 10 am as a church family to worship God. Our service is typically 75 minutes in length and includes about 40 minutes of expositional preaching and teaching. Our music is a blend of worship choruses and traditional hymns set to more contemporary arrangements. Our goal is to provide a weekly worship service that fosters a multi-generational, personal and corporate expression of worship that engages both the heart and mind as we glorify God.
A nursery for infants and toddlers ages birth to 2 years is provided during the entire worship service. We encourage families to worship together by keeping children and teens together with their parents during the first part of the worship service. Children ages 2 1/2 to 3rd grade are dismissed to go with their Sunday school teachers before the sermon begins. Parents are welcome to keep their younger children with them during the sermon if they prefer.
Our Form of Church Goverment
FBF acknowledges the Lord Jesus Christ as our head; the Holy Scriptures as the infallible guide in matters of faith, church order and discipline; the Holy Spirit as our teacher; and is neither accountable to, nor under the jurisdiction or supervision of, any ecclesiastical body.
The governing body of the church are the FBF Elders. The Elders, as a group, constitute the Board of Directors for the church, are the governing body of the church and hold final responsibility and authority of all actions of the church. The Elders are responsible to the Lord for overseeing the affairs of the church and shepherding the flock. The church is governed by a plurality of Elders who are co-equals in terms of voice and authority.
Membership at FBF
We believe that all true Christians are members of Christ’s family through adoption as God’s sons and daughters. The New Testament consistently depicts the local church as a body or a household. Our membership list is a formal list of individual believers who desire to be shepherded by and participate in the local assembly of the body of Christ at Faith Bible Fellowship. (Galatians 4:1-7, I Corinthians 12:12-27 Galatians 6:10 I Peter 4:17)
Financial Stewardship
FBF is supported through the gifts and tithes of our members and regular attenders.
Prayer
At FBF we recognize our total dependence on God and we take seriously the Biblical admonition to “pray without ceasing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:17). From our corporate worship, to our Small Groups, from our Children’s Ministries, to our individual walks with God, prayer is an integral part of all that we do at FBF.
